If I told you I went to school with this chick would you believe me? Well I did and to be honest I didn’t know much about her at the time. All I really knew about her was that she was on the debate team and extremely good at it. Our friends’ groups never really crossed path which is sad to think about because now years later she is one of my favorite humans.
We ran into each other years later at an event for the Cache Valley Photographers Club where she had done the hair and makeup for a group of models that we were photographing. At the time I had no idea she was even doing hair or makeup. So, we began to catch up on life, family and I eventually went on to take newborn picture of her now kindergartner.
It was during this time that she was starting to work for the local Ulta Beauty. Over the last 6 six years I have been able to watch this girl take over Ulta Beauty. Going on to crush every dream and become one of the biggest rising stars I know! She is currently a member of their Design Team, Master Hair Designer and Artistic Educator at Ulta Beauty. We even both ended up in Miami for two separate conventions and her face was plastered on the building. How crazy is that!
So, it was a complete honor when she asked if I would take her head-shot before she left our small town to take on the massive state of Texas. Her dreams and goals are out growing our small valley and I have no doubt that she will accomplish every single one of them! I just feel lucky enough that when she does I’ll get to tell you all….I know that girl!
